Years ago, I started working at Purity. From the very beginning I was obsessed with my job, meeting new people, building so many relationships, learning about holistic products, clean ingredients, and the way they truly work over time. I noticed that while some products promise immediate results, the ones made thoughtfully, naturally, and intentionally often last longer and work better in the long run. That idea has stayed with me, not just about skincare, but about life.
About a year into working there, I began walking with Jesus, and everything began to shift. I had always loved connecting with clients and building relationships with them, but my focus deepened. My joy at work wasn’t just in the products or facials or just meeting new people. It became about sharing the way Jesus has transformed my life, my perspective, and the way I relate to others. That fire feeling I was having was unlike anything I had ever felt before. I wanted everyone to have a taste of it.
As I grew in my faith, I began praying for new opportunities. The idea of creating my own products had been with me for a long time. I started making this oil blend right around the time I found Jesus. I began using the blend on my own skin. I added a few drops to my moisturizer morning and night, and over time, my skin began to clear. A few months later, I started applying it to my scalp overnight before washing my hair, and I noticed baby hairs growing in places I hadn’t seen before. I would tell clients that they could go buy all the ingredients themselves from Whole Foods, mix them, and see results. But over time, it became clear to me that the Lord was calling me to do it myself to create a product rooted in faith, not just beauty. It had to honor Him first, because without that, it wouldn’t feel right or make any sense.
The verse from Songs of Solomon has always resonated deeply with me. It speaks to being comfortable in your own skin and recognizing the beauty God has placed within you. I used to struggle with understanding what true beauty meant, but this verse reminded me that it starts with how God sees us. Taking care of ourselves can help us feel confident, but true confidence, the kind that lasts comes from Him!! That perspective shaped the foundation of this product.
This blend is more than just an oil. It is a reflection of prayer, faith, and intentional care. It is meant to nourish the skin and scalp, yes, but it is also a reminder of worth, confidence, and beauty in Christ.
